Satan. No one, therefore, no matter where on earth one may dwell, is promised any security by reason of the sanctity of their location. If anyplace on this earth deserves the privilege of sanctity, paradise, regarded in the state of innocence, could have claimed this glory for itself above all. Yet even in that place Satan the tempter, the serpent, Satan’s tool, is found; humankind is led astray and transgresses God’s command; and the well-being and happiness of the human race is destroyed.
